Compulsive Overeating and Binge Eating Support Group

“Most chronic dieters are also chronic bingers.”

Caroline Dooner author of The F*ck It Diet

Are you someone who finds themselves eating even when they aren’t hungry or eating in secret? Do you eat out of boredom, for comfort, or to deal with other emotions? Are you tired of obsessing about food throughout your days or the endless fad diets that don’t end up working? Perhaps this group is what you need! This is a processed based group for those who struggle with compulsive overeating and binge eating.  We will meet weekly to discuss day to day struggles, build community, and develop skills to help you deal with your emotions and potentially opt for something else other than food.

Shame, Vulnerability, & Being LGBTQ+

This group with will center around the works of Brené Brown, a leading researcher in vulnerability, shame, courage, and empathy.  As a Certified Daring Way™ Facilitator-Candidate, I will run a half day workshop on how her work specifically applies to the LGBTQ+ population.  This workshop will help with:

– Understanding what shame and vulnerability are

– Embracing vulnerability while acknowledging the real safety concerns that might be present with being an LGBTQ+ person

– Building connections to others and accepting imperfections in oneself

– Developing worth while shaking off shame

– Rewriting your narrative and a place to share your story (if you would like)

If you would like more information or to be notified know when the workshop date has been set, please click the link below and fill out the contact page.  Let me know you are interested and I will be sure to reach out!
